AFTER EDEN

Pre Fall 21 leads us down the garden path, our two muses walking, running, hiding, and seeking through dense autumn foliage and impossibly beautiful blooms. Our muses come across the empty moors and leafy tunnels of a garden with no end, and no beginning. 

The girls maze separately and together, down paths of opposites; creeping vines and tall pines turn into lavender hedges and large winter roses, their clothing interchangeably matching these moods. Leather-clad in pants, skirts and jackets, heavily layered in woolen overcoats, booted and buckled beneath a clouded sky... shifts into jovial and architectural pieces under a winter sun - lashed with ruffles, bows, sequins and sparkles. It’s dusk and dawn. Night and day. They collect talismans and objects along the way; the girls move frivolously and slowly, they laugh loudly and whisper quietly. 

A series of mesmerising environments envelops the duo in themes of growth, beauty, and rebirth. The path brings them to a final opening, a mirage, a vision. A wicker loveseat. They rest, luxuriating in fabulous floor-length pieces, with crimson roses and painterly-printed dresses, jumpsuits in jacquard prints, gingham, gold-thread stripes, and decadent two-tone coats; some with shearling trims, some with silver linings.
